Pay it Forward Plan (PIF)

The Pay it Forward Plan (PIF) is a ConnectGroups’ small grants program available to members. The objective of PIF is to be a mental health early intervention and prevention initiative to empower peer Support Groups to achieve positive mental health outcomes for their members, contribute to the prevention and recovery of mental illness, promote good mental health, and encourage group sustainability.

Dream it Forward Program (DIF)

The Dream if Forward (DIF) program, in partnership with the Mental Health Commission, is a small grants program focused on addressing the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families, and their communities based on the needs identified by the community for the community.

The Give it Forward program (GIF) is a small, flexible, innovative grants program open to ConnectGroups members, managed by ConnectGroups and supported by Lotterywest. The objective of the grants is to help Support Groups to grow, increase their capacity to support others and remain robust and sustainable.

Certificate IV in Community Services

ConnectGroups is pleased to offer its members a Certificate IV in Community Services scholarship package. The package funds an opportunity to complete 7 units of attainment toward a Certificate IV in Community Services to provide the essential skills and knowledge necessary to enhance the services that groups deliver.

Hand to Heart – Social Connections for Older People

Hand to Heart is a free program that assists older people in the Melville region connect to services and community groups via a short series of home visits by volunteers. The service is backed by a database of social activities and interest groups, as well as service providers.
