Support Group Representative
Kiera Collier has a strong passion for the not-for-profit sector and public health, and is particularly interested in women’s health and health promotion. She holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from UWA and is currently studying a Master of Public Health and Graduate Diploma in Health Promotion. She sits on the Board of Endometriosis Western Australia Inc., a not-for-profit organisation supporting Western Australians with endometriosis.
With a background in Medical Science and lived experience with chronic illness, Kiera has been an advocate for women’s health in the education sector at both secondary and tertiary levels and was recently awarded the Youth Community Citizen of the Year award for her dedication to the community.
Kiera is passionate about the role support groups play within the community, providing a sense of belonging, support, and empowerment to those experiencing physical, mental, or social hardship. As a Support Group Representative, Kiera hopes to utilise her skills and experience to provide valuable insight from a consumer perspective, as well as represent adolescents and young adults in the Support Group sector.
