Lyn Millett

Lyn is a registered clinical psychologist and holds a Masters in Clinical and Health Psychology, a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Behavioural Sciences and a Graduate Diploma in Education. She has an exceptionally strong record of achievements in community service growth, review and development and has  held senior positions within major not for profit organizations including  headspace National , MercyCare and Uniting Care West and government departments including the Department for Child Protection and Family Support and Department of Justice. She also works within the private sector in a clinical and neuro psychology practice. She is currently Executive Manager, Professional Education and Safeguarding services with the Australian Childhood Foundation. 

Lyn is a published co-author in the field of offender rehabilitation and youth mental health and has presented at conferences on topics as diverse as youth mental health, youth suicide intervention, violent offending and parental substance use. She has worked in the United States and New Zealand in the fields of offender management, child protection and educational psychology. She is currently the co- chair of the state steering group for the Youth Mental Health Sub network, Mental Health Subnetwork, a board director on the National Therapeutic Residential Care Alliance and previously served on the Independent Reference Group for the Department of Communities Out of Home Care Reform Process.
