Linking Together uses local venues to support social interaction and friendship for carers. In providing regular, planned, carer focused and flexible outings at low or no cost, Linking Together seeks to allow carers the choice of attending outings and activities that are suitable for them. Our Linking Together carer events are designed to be easily accessible to the carer; relaxed, friendly, supportive and a gateway to access other services. These monthly activities can also provide the carer with a well-earned break from their caring role in a friendly and social environment, which will hopefully introduce the carer to a whole new peer support network in their own local area or community.
Catholic Outreach provides services to assist parishes set up and support Pastoral Care Programs which enable volunteers to provide practical emergency short term support for people in need in their local community.
Parish Pastoral Care Programs offer practical support to anyone in need and include activities such as bereavement support, emergency meals, family support, gardening, handyman, home help, transport and visiting. The support is tailored to the needs of the community and the availability of volunteers.

Meeting at The Meerilinga Kingsley; this group provides an opportunity for people to get together to have a chat and a coffee. Everyone is welcome and there is no need to book. Cost is $3, Meeting times are Mondays 10am-12 noon.
FAMILY MATTERS: A group where you can get support from other families and a Cyrenian House counsellor about alcohol & other drug use in your family. The group offers an opportunity to: Talk about what is going on for you; get some information on drugs and their effects; learn new coping skills and communication strategies; and help others in a similar situation by listening to their stories and sharing what you have learnt along the way. Mondays 7pm to 8:30pm.
PEER SUPPORT RECOVERY GROUP: A group for Cyrenian House consumers who wish to maintain abstinence from alcohol and other drug use with an engaged and pro-active approach to their recovery. It is a peer-led open support and discussion group, offering support through the challenges and gains of recovery by people who have their own lived experience of alcohol and other drug use recovery. Provides community based after-care support following residential or non-residential treatment. Social connectivity will be supported by occasional social outings. Self-referral or referral by a Cyrenian House worker. Mondays 10am to 11:30am.
Contributes to the social, physical and emotional wellbeing of those affected by Cystic Fibrosis and assists in the promotion of research. Services available to people with Cystic Fibrosis and their families, including free advice and information.
To prepare and connect inter-generational volunteers with disadvantaged or at-risk young people for education success and wellbeing.
