ADHD WA, formerly known as LADS – Learning and Attentional Disorder Society of WA, is a support, information and advocacy agency, founded in 1993 for people with ADHD and associated conditions. Allambee Counselling Inc is a specialist therapeutic service that has been providing support for people who have experienced sexual assault/abuse, domestic violence in the Peel region since 1991. Allambee responds to individuals and families who have been affected by sexual abuse/assault, domestic violence and other forms of trauma in a way that is trauma-informed, client directed, strengths based and recovery-oriented.
Allambee also provides specific support for at-risk and disengaged youth through our Street Net Youth Service. Street Net offers information, case management, support, referrals and recreational and diversional activities for high school aged youth in the community who are at-risk.
A key focus of Allambee’s service provision is preventative intervention to promote positive change in community attitudes towards sexual and family violence. Allambee provides a range of community education, awareness raising and training initiatives aimed at reducing future incidence of violence in our community.
AAWA provides Carer Support Groups and Carer Support and Information Programs for carers who are caring for a loved one living with dementia in the community (not in residential care). There are various locations in metropolitan and regional areas, please call for more information.
Provides emotional support to mothers who have been separated from their children by adoption in a friendly and supportive environment. Provides information to assist with reunion or post-adoption effects. Promotes community awareness of the long-term consequences of adoption, separation and secrecy and dispel the myth that adoption is a benign practice. Advocates for the rights of all affected by adoption and monitor legislative changes to adoption law. Encourages and promotes social and administrative reforms that address the needs of people already separated by adoption.
A support group for families with a brain injured member undertaking various rehabilitation treatment programmes and subsidising approved alternate therapies. Provides equipment, incontinence pad scheme and family support.
A national, non-profit organisation of parents, professionals and community members working together to ensure the emotional and social needs of children, adolescents and their families are met within hospitals and the health care system.

The Australian Dads Network is a Support Group that connects Dads and families to create a stronger community by removing isolation and improving mental health. The Group aims to reduce suicide and increase mateship across the country.
The Australian Dads Networks vision is to provide dads of Australia with a platform to connect with other dads and discuss all things that are relevant and required to be the best dad, man and husband they can be. With honesty and no judgement members can ask questions and get answers that will assist them in improving daily – in all areas of their lives.
The Facebook Group is open to those who are fathers. Members are encouraged to share with the Facebook Group online and meet up locally for a ‘coffee, beer or camping trip’

Using a strength-based approach, we facilitate social groups for kids and young adults on the spectrum who are aged between 10 to 30 years of age. In our social groups, our members connect and build friendships whilst engaging in activities that interest them. They also learn new life-skills such as computer coding, public speaking, art and film-making.

A support group to parents and families of any disability. We meet monthly but hope to grow in size in order to be able to service many more families and children in our local region.
Blossom Gums Women’s Group is based at the Champion Centre in Armadale and incorporates a range of environmental, awareness raising and educational strategies to improve Aboriginal women’s health, social and emotional wellbeing. For example: health related educational sessions, promotional material, healthy eating sessions, key presenters/facilitators, yarning and a fitness program.
