A small grants program focused on mental health early intervention and prevention to empower peer Support Groups to achieve positive mental health outcomes for their members, contribute to the prevention and recovery of mental illness, promote good mental health, and encourage group sustainability.
Dream it Forward
A small grants program focused on addressing the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and their communities in WA by activating and strengthening culture, and is based on needs identified by the community for the community.
Give it Forward
A small, flexible, innovative grants program open to ConnectGroups members, managed by ConnectGroups and supported by Lotterywest. The objective of the grants is to help Support Groups to grow, increase their capacity to support others and remain robust and sustainable.
Hand to Heart
Hand to Heart is a free social connection program that assists isolated older people to connect to local services, community groups, and activities via a short series of home visits by volunteers.
Stay Connected with Telehealth
A short term project developed by ConnectGroups in collaboration with WAPHA to raise awareness, educate and increase utilisation of Telehealth for those with diagnosed chronic conditions.
Strengthening the Rare, Genetic and Undiagnosed Conditions Sector
Commissioned by the WA Department of Health (Office of Population Genomics, this project aims to understand the challenges faced by Peer Support Group and NGOs working in this sector.
